A flipbook is a little book of drawings. Each page shows the picture a tiny bit changed, and when you flip the pages with your thumb the picture moves. Draw near the free edge (not the spine) so the drawings show as you flip, use thin paper so you can trace the page before, number every page and keep the background still. If you flip 12 pages each second, a 48-page flipbook lasts 48 ÷ 12 = 4 seconds.
