Stop motion brings clay models, toys or paper cut-outs to life. Build a small set, fix the camera (or a phone on a stand) so it cannot move, take one photo, move the model a tiny bit, take another photo, and repeat. Played quickly, the photos move. Keep the light steady (a lamp, not a sunny window), keep hands out of the shot and tape the set down. A film at 12 photos per second needs 12 × 10 = 120 photos for 10 seconds.
