In block coding we make programs by snapping blocks together like jigsaw pieces. A sprite is a character that moves on the stage. Event blocks start the code (when a key is pressed), motion blocks move and turn the sprite, sound blocks play sounds, if blocks check a condition, and loop blocks repeat steps. A loop that repeats 4 times a move of 10 steps moves the sprite 4 × 10 = 40 steps.
