How to teach it

Look, count, check — “count each picture once, then check your answer”

  1. Listen to the question (a grown-up reads it, or tap 🔊).
  2. Count the pictures with your finger, or look carefully.
  3. Tap your answer, then check it once more.

Use it for: Revising Nursery maths before LKG.

Worked example: How many ducks are there? 🦆🦆🦆🦆 → 4

  1. Touch each duck with your finger and count aloud: 1, 2, 3, 4.
  2. The last number you say tells how many: 4 ducks.

Check: 1, 2, 3, 4 — four ducks ✓
