Grammar Sort — questions

What are the parts of speech?

The jobs words do in a sentence. A noun names a person, place, animal or thing (dog, Delhi). A verb is an action or doing word (run, ate). An adjective describes a noun (tall, sweet). An adverb tells how, when or how often something happens (slowly, tomorrow, always).

Can the same word be a different part of speech?

Yes — “brush” is a noun in “my brush” and a verb in “I brush my teeth”. That is why the game always shows the word inside a sentence. Look at what the word does there.

Which level is right for my child?

Easy (noun or verb) for Classes 2–3, Medium (+ adjective) for Classes 3–4, Hard (+ adverb) for Classes 4–6.

संज्ञा, क्रिया, विशेषण और क्रिया-विशेषण कैसे पहचानें?

संज्ञा (noun) नाम बताती है, क्रिया (verb) काम बताती है, विशेषण (adjective) संज्ञा के बारे में बताता है, और क्रिया-विशेषण (adverb) बताता है कि काम कैसे, कब या कितनी बार हुआ।

Can my child challenge a friend?

Yes. Signed-in players can share a link — the friend gets exactly the same 10 sentences.
