Part 2 test: leading others — Leadership skills for students
This test mixes questions from the seven Part 2 lessons: leader or boss, clear instructions, delegating, motivating and fairness, conflicts, group decisions and team goals. Pass it to earn the Part 2 badge.
Lead with the team — “listen, explain, share, motivate, solve, decide, aim”
Find the topic: qualities, instructions, delegating, motivating, conflict, decisions or goals.
Use that lesson’s tip — leader not boss; who, what, when; right task, right person; praise and be fair; calm, listen, options, agree; vote or consensus; what, how much, by when.
For sums: the most votes wins, a majority is more than half, and a weekly target is the goal ÷ weeks.
Use it for: Revising Part 2 before you lead a team, a club or an event.
Worked example: 🧩 Two teammates are arguing loudly over who presents. What is the first step? → help them calm down
Nobody listens well while angry.
So the first step is to help them calm down.
Check: Try it: lead one small team task at school this week and use at least three Part 2 skills ✓
Work it out in your head or on paper, type the answer and press Check. Stuck? Press “Show me how”.
