What is GK?

GK (general knowledge) is the everyday knowledge every child gathers about the world: colours, shapes and animals, our body and the calendar, the national symbols of India, helpers and festivals, space, sports and music, the map of India and the world, famous monuments, inventions, science around us, dances, books and computers. This free course has 6 lessons for each class: Class 1 (colours and shapes, animal sounds and young ones, fruits and vegetables, parts of the body, days, months and seasons), Class 2 (national symbols, community helpers, transport and traffic signals, means of communication, festivals of India), Class 3 (the solar system, body systems, sports, musical instruments, continents and oceans), Class 4 (states, capitals and rivers of India, monuments, inventions, animal facts, units and measurement) and Class 5 (world capitals and geography, science in daily life, Indian dances and art, books and authors, computer and internet basics). The last lesson of every class is a class test. We only use facts that stay true year after year, so the worksheets never go out of date.

GK Worksheets for Class 1–5 questions

What is GK for primary school children?

GK (general knowledge) is what children know about the world around them — animals and plants, our body, the calendar, India’s national symbols, festivals, space, sports, music, maps, monuments, inventions, science and computers. It builds curiosity, vocabulary and confidence for school quizzes.

GK worksheet kaise karwaye? (Hindi)

What age or class are these GK worksheets for?

Class 1 to Class 5, roughly ages 6 to 11. Each class has its own part of 6 lessons. Class 1 lessons also suit UKG children who are ready for Class 1, and older children can revise any class.

Is there a GK worksheet for Class 2?

Yes. Class 2 has lessons on the national symbols of India, community helpers and their tools, transport and traffic signals, means of communication and festivals of India, and ends with a Class 2 practice test. Every worksheet is fresh each time you open it.

Are there printable GK worksheets (PDF) with answers?

Yes. Every lesson has free printable GK worksheets with an answer key — print them, save them as PDF or solve them online. Each time you open a worksheet you get a fresh set of questions.

Do you have GK for nursery or for Class 6?

For nursery and LKG, read the Class 1 questions aloud and let your child point to the answer — colours, shapes, animal sounds and fruits work well. For children moving up to Class 6, the Class 5 lessons and final test are a good revision of world geography, science, culture, books and computers.

Will these GK facts go out of date?

No. We only use facts that stay true year after year — national symbols, planets, monuments, settled capitals, inventions, units and science ideas. We leave out things that change every year, so the worksheets stay correct.

How do I get a certificate?

Sign in and pass the 20-question test of a lesson (16 or more right) to earn its badge. Pass every lesson of a class — Class 1 is lessons 1–6, Class 2 is 7–12, Class 3 is 13–18, Class 4 is 19–24, Class 5 is 25–30 — and you get that class’s certificate, with a code anyone can check.

Is this GK course free?

Yes. All 30 lessons, practice, tests, worksheets, badges and certificates are free. Classes with a TalentJR teacher (online or at home) are paid — request a call back for fees.
