    How to say it

    Can you + verb…? / Let's + verb / I'll + verb — “Ask, offer and plan small jobs at home”

    1. Ask for help: Can you / Could you + verb…? (Could you pass the salt? — नमक दे दोगे?)
    2. Offer help: I'll + verb / Shall I + verb…? (I'll wash the dishes. — मैं बर्तन धो दूँगा।)
    3. Plan together: Let's + verb (Let's eat together. — चलो साथ खाते हैं।)
    4. Routine: use simple present — We have dinner at nine. (हम नौ बजे खाना खाते हैं।)

    Use it for: At breakfast and dinner, while cleaning, getting ready for school or office, and planning the weekend with family.

    Worked example: Can you help me fold the clothes?

    1. Try each option in the gap: Can / Do / Are.
    2. Requests start with Can/Could + verb. (मदद माँगने के लिए Can/Could लगाते हैं।)
