    How to say it

    Do / Does / Did / Is / Are / Was / Can / Will + subject + …? — “Short answer: Yes, I do. / No, she isn't.”

    1. Put the helping verb first: You are ready → Are you ready? She can swim → Can she swim? (क्या… ?)
    2. No helping verb? Add do / does / did: You like tea → Do you like tea? He works here → Does he work here?
    3. Short answers repeat the helping verb: Yes, I do. No, he doesn't. Yes, it is. No, I can't. Yes, they will.
    4. Use the base verb after does / did: Does she live here? (not lives). Did you eat? (not ate).

Use it for: Checking plans, confirming orders, interviews, phone calls — quick questions that need a yes or a no.

Worked example: Do you like mango juice? — Yes, I do.

    1. Try each option in the gap: Do / Does / Are.
    2. You + like (action) → Do you…? — you के साथ do।

Check: I can ask 'Do you…? / Is it…? / Can you…?' and answer 'Yes, I do' or 'No, it isn't' at once. ✓

    ✏️ Practice
