    How to say it

Verb first (Sit down.) · Don't + verb · Let's + verb — “Commands start with the verb — no 'you' needed”

    1. Start with the base verb: Sit down. Close the door. Wait here. (बैठो। दरवाज़ा बंद करो।)
    2. To stop someone: Don't + verb — Don't worry. Don't touch the wire. (मत करो)
    3. To suggest together: Let's + verb — Let's go. Let's start. (चलो… करते हैं)
    4. Add 'please' to sound polite: Please sit down. / Sit down, please.

Use it for: At home, in class, guiding a guest, giving directions, at the office, talking to younger siblings.

Worked example: Don't worry, everything is fine.

    1. Try each option in the gap: Don't / Not / No.
    2. To stop someone, use Don't + verb. (मना करने के लिए Don't + क्रिया।)

Check: Can I give one order, one 'Don't…' and one 'Let's…' sentence for my home right now? ✓
