Learn one quick maths trick at a time, then race the clock to make it automatic. Twenty-five short lessons take your child from adding a column in seconds to decimals, fractions, percentages, estimates and checking answers in a flash.
⏱️ Every test has a time limit — get 16 of 20 right and beat the clock to earn the badge.
🏎️ Quick check: Add a column fast: pairs that make 10
Each lesson has the idea, a worked example, unlimited practice with “Show me how”, a 20-question test and worksheets. Pass a lesson’s test to earn its badge; pass every lesson in a part to earn that part’s certificate (sign in to keep badges, certificates and progress).
Ages 8–11 — pairs that make 10, rounding, same-change subtraction, rupees and paise, running totals.
Ages 9–13 — doubling sprints, × 5 and × 50, × 15, teen times teen and squares next to a ten.
Ages 10–16 — ÷ 5, ÷ 25 and ÷ 50, percentages in seconds, checking with nines, estimates and a mixed timed challenge.
Ages 11–16 — 4-digit split-and-join, decimal point jumps, decimal × and ÷, percent–fraction–decimal swaps, what percent, percent estimates, one-step increase and decrease, cancelling fractions and squares near 50.
Speed calculation is doing sums in your head quickly and correctly by using smart shortcuts instead of slow paper methods. The later lessons cover decimals, fractions and percentages. Each lesson teaches one fast method with a worked example, gives unlimited practice with step-by-step help, and ends with a timed 20-sum test — beat the target time to earn a badge. It suits children aged 8 to 16 who already know their tables and want to be faster in class tests, olympiads and everyday life.
40 questions per sheet with an answer key — print, save as PDF or solve online.

Learn one shortcut at a time and practise it until it is automatic, then move on. Short daily practice with a timer — 10 minutes is enough — builds speed far better than long sessions. Knowing tables up to 10 well is the best starting point.
Part 1 suits ages 8–11, Part 2 ages 9–13, Part 3 ages 10–16 and Part 4 (decimals, fractions and percentages) ages 11–16. Children should know addition, subtraction and tables up to 10 before starting.
No. Vedic maths is one set of methods with sutras; this course is speed training with everyday shortcuts — rounding, doubling and halving, building percentages from 10%, checking with nines and estimating — each with a timed test. The two courses work well together.
A trick only helps if it becomes automatic. Each test has 20 sums and a target time that a practised child can reach. Accuracy comes first: get 16 or more right to pass, and beat the target time to show real speed.
Percent means out of 100, so divide by 100 for the decimal: 35% = 0.35. For the fraction, write it over 100 and simplify: 35/100 = 7/20. Learn the key ones by heart — 50% = 1/2, 25% = 1/4, 20% = 1/5, 12.5% = 1/8, 10% = 1/10, 5% = 1/20 — and Lesson 20 trains the swaps against the clock.
Yes. Faster mental calculation leaves more time for hard questions, and the checking and estimation lessons help children catch mistakes before they hand in their paper.
Sign in and pass the 20-sum test of a lesson to earn its badge. Pass every lesson in a part — Part 1 is lessons 1–5, Part 2 is 6–10, Part 3 is 11–15, Part 4 is 16–25 — and you get that part’s certificate, with a code anyone can check.
